Is this course for you?
This course is for those who have already passed the PRINCE2® Foundation exam and now wish to proceed towards the Practitioner qualification. You will gain a more focussed understanding of PRINCE2 at Practitioner level. The Practitioner is usually taken straight after the Foundation course. However, if you need to split the course you may take the Practitioner course and exam at a later date.

By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Understand the PRINCE2® method at Practitioner level
- Apply the principles of PRINCE2 to a project at Practitioner level
- Pass the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam
What is the course like?
You will gain an understanding of PRINCE2® at Practitioner level and there will be a focus towards preparing you for the practitioner exam.
We have an average of eight delegates per course. The course will be delivered by a PRINCE2 approved trainer with professional experience. You'll work in groups undertaking exercises, discussions and sample questions. Exam techniques and an outline of the following morning will be explained.
What is included in the cost?Pre-course material, the official PRINCE2® Manual, handbook, exam fee, *refreshments and *lunch (*Southampton only).
What examinations are taken?PRINCE2® Practitioner Exam: 2.5 hours, open book (official PRINCE2 manual only) from 09:30 to 12:00 on Friday morning. There will be eight scenario based objective test questions - 10 question items per question, each worth one mark. 44 marks or more required to pass (out of 80 available) - 55%.
Your papers will be forwarded to the APMG for marking and your result will be e-mailed to you within 10 working days.
What is PRINCE2?PRINCE2 (an acronym for PRojects IN Controlled Environments, version 2) is a project management methodology.
The methodology includes quality management, control and organization of a project with consistency and review to align with the objectives.
PRINCE2 emphasis is on dividing the project into manageable and controllable stages. PRINCE2 is owned by a UK Government and Axelos made joint venture.
